Workshop – Playing with polymer clay

December 17, 2010

Breaking news!

Our first workshop of 2011 will be an opportunity to learn how to make beads and buttons from polymer clay and explore how these can be integrated into your fibre arts work.

The photo below  is an example of polymer clay and fabric used together to form a bunting flag – this technique could be adapted to a bag, a purse, jewelry. You will have your own ideas. Bring them along! I’m going to spend this weekend bringing felt and beads together – will post the results next week.

The workshop details are: Saturday January 22nd, 10am – 1pm at Glossop Labour Club. The workshop will be led by Amanda Shackleton and we have 8 places available. Cost £12 for members of the Glossop Fibre Arts Co-operative, £18 for non-members.

To reserve a place email glossoptextilearts@gmail.com. Full payment required in advance to secure your place.
