The Wool Experience at Blaze Farm, Wildboarclough, Cheshire, SK11 0BL Saturday 3rd July 2010 10am – 4pm

Admission £1 with proceeds to Wildboarclough Church and School Rooms

Spinning, weaving, feltmaking and other fibrecraft stalls and demonstrations from: Wild Fibres – SpinOlution Spinning wheels, small looms and dyes. A great opportunity to see the wheels in action. Dot Lumb, spinner, weaver, and editor of new British handspinners magazine “YarnMaker”. Blaze Farm’s very own, resident Black Sheep Spinners Murmuring Wheel Group Edale Woolworks – Spinning and Felting Demonstrations ELF – Handfelted Products, teacosies, brooches, bags etc. Needle Felting Demonstrations. Greengate Wools – Wool and fibre, fleeces, felt, and a collection of woolen products, mainly made from Lincoln Longwool fleece. Newtoft Woodcraft and Lincolnshire Tree Services – Turned wood items and chainsaw carvings from sustainable woodlands. Displays of traditional bowl carving and shavehorse work. The Amore Group – Fancy Yarn, Beads, Buttons etc plus Members of Leek and Alsager Guilds and The Arkwright Spinsters. Local craftspeople. Sheep shearing demonstrations every 20 minutes Fleece stall and fleece creche – buy your fleece and leave it in the creche until you leave.
